How to wear & style over the knee boots

Over the knee boots are warming our legs since last year, but this year they're significance has grown even more, and it seems like this trend is here to stay for quite some time. So here are some ideas on how to style this popular item.

Oversized sweaters
Style your favorite boots with a slouchy sweater and a pair of tights or jeans underneath.

Dresses
Who says you can't wear a summer/spring dress with boots? These pictures show the opposite! Or wear the boots with a sweater-dress, you wont go wrong. The only thing to keep in mind is that the lenght of a dress should be short enough not to cover the boots!

Skinny jeans
Combine over the knee boots with a T-shirt and a pair of jeans. Color of jeans? Doesn't matter. However, the boots will get the deserved attention if the T you style with is the same color as boots. And don't forget to finish your style with a statment belt!

Skirts
A-line, straight line, suede, leather.. whatever! It'll look great with any short skirt combined with a tucked in sweater or blouse. Just don't forget to put on some tights if it's cold.

Which one is your fave? How do you wear them? Let me know..

Best affordable over the knee boots (Mango, Zara, Stradivarius, H&M)

Yes, the time has come. The days when wearing over the knee boots and looking... a little uncomfortable or unsure, are finally over. These boots are rapidly flooding the stores across the Globe this Fall and I present you the best ones from high street brands: Mango, Zara, Stradivarius and H&M.

Mango - for 59.99 Euros, you get luxury feel suede material, comfortable, flat, but feel slippery.
These boots feel very comfortable for walking. The suede material feels luxurious and soft. They’re tight but not extremely, so if you’re skinny, there is a room to wear jeans comfortably under the boots.
I don’t think they’re practical if you live somewhere where it’s raining or snowing a lot. They’re quite flat and feel very slippery. So if you live in a cold but sunny place, these are perfect for you. You’ll look classy and they’ll keep you warm.

Stradivarius - 39.99 Euros, comfortable, suede material not so luxurious as Mango, flat but heel is little bit bigger then Mango and feels non slippery, perfect during cold/wet weather.
These are my favorites. They’re flat, but with a little of heel and the bottom has some kind of a rubber on, so they’re not so slippery as Mango ones. The suede material doesn’t feel so luxurious and soft as the ones from Mango, but it’s not bad either. These boots will keep your feet above the cold and wet ground, hence they’ll keep you quite warm. The upper part goes little bit more higher then Mango ones and there’s more room inside the boot. So these are for someone tall, or if you just like to wear them higher and slouchier, then you’ll love these.

Zara - 39.95 Euros, couldn't find them on store - there should be a gadget invented to detect Zara shoes when you're in the store because Zara shoes are almost impossible to find, at least not the one you're looking for.

H&M - 49.99 Euros. Pricier then Stradivarius, the same quality, flat.
These ones were also my favorite, they're similar to Stradivarius ones, with a little bit of a heel and non - slippery feel. The higher price here made me choose the cheaper ones.

Hope this article helped you in deciding for which over the knee boots to go for! Let me know which ones do you have, or like!
