Best MAC products of 2017 worth buying

Here are some suggestions on what to buy from MAC. If you're on a budget but you would still like to make a MAC purchase and don't know what to get, then keep on reading!

MAC blotting powder - if you have oily skin, or just looking for the best pressed powder to control the oil throughout the day, this is it. It is the best purchase I have made from MAC. You can put on any foundation, and set the face with MAC's blotting powder and there's no way you'll get oily or greasy at least for the next 8 hours, or more. It's also perfect for setting the under eye concealer.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus - if you don't want to wear a liquid foundation but still would like to have a flawless skin, this product will do the trick.

MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre - the best eye primer when applying eyeshadows. You get a lot of it, and a little goes a  long way.

MAC mineralize/baked blushes - no need for applying a highlighter if you use one of the baked blushes from MAC. They're pigmented and give you a subtle glow to your cheeks. My favorite ones are 'Warm Soul' and 'Gentle'.

MAC brushes - one of the most quality brushes in the market. You don't need them all, just the ones you're gonna use the most. For example, the famous 217 blending brush, a brow brush and a powder brush.

MAC lipsticks - gorgeous colors when you put them on and long lasting. The all time favorite red shade is 'Ruby Woo' and if you're more into nude shades, try 'Creme D'Nude'.

These are my favorite products from MAC. Hope you enjoyed this article. Comment below and let me know which ones are yours if you already own MAC cosmetics, I would love to know!

Best liquid foundations for all skin types (high end vs. drugstore) in 2017

How to choose a foundation? Which one is the best? Drugstore foundations are rapidly increasing their quality, but there are still many irreplaceable high end ones. Here you can find the best foundations on the market so far for oily, dry or normal/combination skin.

If your skin is oily, and you're on a budget, L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro - Matte foundation is the best one out there. If you can afford to spend $40 or more, then Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place is perfect - it truly stays in place all day, mattifies and leaves the skin freaking flawless!

Dry skin - the best drugstore foundation for dry skin is Maybelline FIT ME! DEWY + SMOOTH foundation. It's around $5, very lightweight and leaves the skin glowy! However, if you want to spend some extra bucks, then definitely go for Nars Sheer Glow foundation (most favorable among beauty vloggers on YouTube).

Normal/Combination skin - try Maybelline Fit Me! Matte &Poreless foundation. Eventhough it's made for oily skin, this foundation has a little bit of glow. This is the most popular and suggested drugstore foundation from beauty gurus ever. On the other side, the best high end foundation for normal skin is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation. It leaves the skin blurred and is great for textured skin, also one of the favorites among beauty vloggers.

The struggle is real out there! Don't give up until you find your true love (foundation, I mean). Let me know what worked for you!

Best affordable makeup brushes

I am impressed. The best affordable brushes I found so far. The brushes come in a beautiful black box. You get 8 brushes with a manual and a small black clutch for the price of £6.99.

They look very professional and feel luxurious. The bristles are soft, and the brushes feel soft on the skin.

The bronzing brush, powder brush, foundation brush, smudging brush, angled brush and lip brush are great, no complaints at all. However, the stippling brush isn’t so stipple. It is more like not so dense kabuki brush, which I will be definitely using to apply my foundation. The contouring brush, according to the manual, is for nose contouring, which is little bit big for that, but it can be perfectly used for blending eyeshadows.

100% recommend!

Maybelline FIT ME! DEWY + SMOOTH FOUNDATION REVIEW

This is a perfect foundation if you want a natural glow and a light, yet buildable, coverage. The price on Amazon.com is just above $5. I love this foundation, especially for colder days when your skin needs more hydration. It’s very easy to blend. You can set it with a powder if you want more mat finish since it stays quite tacky. It is more suitable for normal to dry skin, but I think oily skin can also wear it if combined with a suitable mattifying primer underneath. One of my favorites!
Here are some great reviews from the most popular beauty vloggers on YouTube:

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro - Matte Foundation Review

Overall, a GREAT foundation.
The price is less than $10 on Amazon.com. Matte finish, full coverage and stays very long, most suitable for oily skin. If you have normal to dry skin, try putting a very hydrating moisturizer or primer. I have normal to dry skin and used it with L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer, a luminous primer, and worked very nice. It blurred out my skin and evened my skin tone. It sets very quickly so you need to blend it immediately and there’s no need to set it with a powder. It’s a nice foundation if you have any events or going on a night out.
I wouldn't prefer it in winter if you have dry skin, it's more for other seasons when your skin doesn't need to be so moisturized.

L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer:
This foundation is highly favourable among beauty vloggers on YouTube. They say it's one of the best affordable foundations for oily skin. You can watch their reviews here: LustreLux, saaammage, shaaanxo, Tati, Desi Perkins, LauraLee, pixiwoo, Tati (another one), Manny Mua.

Everyday Makeup routine

For every day, I like using lighter foundations (for example UD Naked Skin Weightless foundation), BB creams or just a primer (POREfessional from Benefit, or Photoready from Revlon – both excellent primers) and set my face with a powder so my skin won’t get to oily through the day.

A blush is a must for me, and I like using MACs blush in Peaches, but sometimes I put on a bronzer, or something in between, like MACs baked blush in Warm Soul, just to warm up my face.

To quickly fill in my brows, I use Anastasias dipbrow pomade in medium brown with a brow brush from Sephora.

For the eyes, if I have time and patience, I put an eyeliner with a pencil liquid liner (I had a great one from Sephora, but I run out of that, now I’m using MaxFactor Masterpiece Liquid Liner), and finish my eyes with one coat  of black mascara (Benefits They’re Real mascara is amazing!).

I tend to leave lips with no product on them, but recently I started using MACs lipstick in Fast Play, which is a great color to use in the Fall.

I find that this makeup keeps my face fresh and my pores less clogged with unnecessary products, which can age the skin more quickly and cause more breakouts. This light makeup reduces the discoloration on my face and hides some of my blemishes, which is perfect for everyday. Again, this is an everyday makeup routine, whereas for special occasions, I use different procedure and products.
Since I put make up EVERY DAY, I made this process very easy, fast and simple, and hopefully helped somebody in getting some ideas for your every day make up!
